A wonderful way to receive the benefits of the practice in a safe, supportive way, chair yoga takes place at Grey Bears on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, 9:30am – 10:30am. This wonderfully therapeutic practice will help you increase strength, range of motion, stamina, memory and mental awareness, improve circulation and relax the body.
Instructors Suzi Mahler, CYT NE (left), and Sarah Kaufman, CYT (right) will guide you through a series of gentle seated yoga postures that are performed slowly and with breath awareness. No pretzel poses or getting on the floor. Come and stretch your body and calm your mind. $5 suggested donation, no one turned away for lack of funds.
