GENERAL GUIDELINES
Please park your vehicle in the parking lot along side the Skyview Drive-In Movie Theatre and enter Grey Bears' property from the rear pedestrian gate. No volunteer or visitor parking is allowed on Grey Bears' property. Remember if you are a shut- in driver, site driver or here to volunteer, drive slowly with caution and observe pedestrians at all times. Grey Bears is not responsible for vehicle or pedestrian accidents that occur on our property even if volunteers are doing business for Grey Bears. Your insurance is primary so you must have your own insurance on your vehicle to be a volunteer driver.
Please be courteous and kind at all times and REMEMBER WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO ASK YOU TO LEAVE IF YOUR ACTIONS, DEMEANOR, OR BEHAVIOR ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE.
Please ask the department head you are working with to explain where to sign-in to record your volunteer hours. Grey Bears will do its best to satisfy all volunteers; if you are unhappy in your position, you can request a transfer to another department provided a position is available.
No individuals, at any time, are allowed to help themselves to either food, rummage items, or recycling materials without first obtaining permission from a staff person. THE REMOVAL OF ANY OF THE ABOVE ITEMS WITHOUT PERMISSION IS THEFT AND WILL BE TREATED AS SUCH. Grey Bears is here to serve seniors so please respect our mission.
Snacks and beverages are provided for breaks Monday-Friday; lunch is served Monday-Friday from 11:30 am - noon.
HEALTH AND SAFETY
Smoking is not permitted in any building, newspaper room, around cardboard, and/or propane equipment. Smoking is allowed in two outdoor designated areas only.
